On October 30-31, the Youth Forum of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus “Youth and the Future” was held at the Republican Ski Center “Silichi”. It was attended by 150 youth representatives from organizations of the management system, including representatives of the State Enterprise Belarusian Printing House Publishing Co and the Minsk Printing House branch. The two-day program combined commemorative events, training intensive courses, dialogue with management and a joint labor action.
The forum began with a visit to the Khatyn Memorial Complex. For the participants, this became an important part of the program: young people got acquainted with the history of the memorial, laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and honored the memory of the victims.
The opening ceremony of the forum was held after the excursion to the RSC “Silichi”. Anton Mikhailovich Krayevsky, Deputy Managing Director of the President of the Republic of Belarus, took part in it.
On the first day, the participants joined intensive training sessions on team building, leadership, and information management. Specialists of the Republican Youth Center and the Development Bank of Belarus conducted classes “Team. Idea. The result” and “Work in the media space: trends of the times”.
The trainings provided an opportunity to discuss approaches to collaboration, share experiences and consider topical issues of interaction in the media space. The topics of the classes complemented each other: successful implementation of initiatives requires both teamwork and an understanding of how to present ideas and communicate.
The first day ended with a musical quiz. The informal part of the program became another opportunity for participants to chat and spend time together.
The second day of the forum began with a dialogue platform “Talking about the main thing: Youth and the future” with Anton Mikhailovich Kraevsky, Deputy Managing Director of the President of the Republic of Belarus. This format made it possible to continue communication in an open atmosphere and discuss topics related to youth and development prospects.
For the participants, the forum has become a platform not only for gaining new knowledge, but also for dialogue, exchange of opinions and establishing professional contacts. Meetings and joint classes helped to unite representatives of different organizations around common tasks and initiatives.
The forum ended with the labor action “Energy of Creation”. Together, the participants improved the territory of the Silichi Regional Cultural Center, turning the idea of the forum into a concrete work.
The participants noted the rich program of the forum and the variety of formats: a memorable trip to Khatyn, practical intensive courses, an open conversation and a common labor action. This combination allowed not only to gain new knowledge, but also to communicate with young people from other organizations, exchange experiences and get to know each other better.
A particularly significant part of the forum for many was the opportunity to discuss issues of concern in a dialogue format. And the joint landscaping of the Silichi territory was a clear end to the program: the participants were able to contribute to the common cause and see the result of their joint work.
The two-day program combined memory and respect for history, learning, open dialogue and teamwork. The Youth Forum in Silichi became a space for communication and exchange of experience, and the final action reminded: Creative energy is manifested primarily in the activities that the participants can perform together.
