OUR CLEAN-UP DAY!

18.04.2026

In accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 03/31/2026 No. 150 “On holding a republican clean-up day in 2026”, a republican clean-up day was held on April 18, 2026.

On this day, when we are doing something very important and necessary for our country together – putting our territories in order, planting trees, then, perhaps, we truly realize the value of the work of those people who maintain cleanliness every day. In addition, of course, it is also an opportunity to communicate informally and work. This tradition has been preserved in our country for many years. People understand that by joining together, we can do a lot.

Cleanliness and order is a brand of Belarus, we used to be proud of it. Our country is clean and beautiful. But behind this is a huge amount of work by people who do this job every day. We need to preserve the brand of well-groomed Belarus for future generations. We understand that our children should live on this beautiful land. Therefore, this tradition must be passed down from generation to generation.

More than 2 million 300 thousand people joined the large-scale campaign to restore order throughout the country. The preliminary amount that Belarusians earned during the republican clean–up is more than 18 million rubles.

The staff of the Press House took part in restoring order on the territory of the enterprise and the surrounding area. As a sign of respect and eternal memory of the printers of the printing house who died during the occupation and on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War for Freedom and Independence, the staff of the Press House put in order the memorial stele installed in the courtyard of the enterprise after the autumn-winter period.

Members of the Youth Council of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus: Kirill Sergeyevich Girgel, a process engineer at the production department, and Anton Vladimirovich Paveliev, head of the ideological work sector, together with the Office of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, participated in the creation of forest crops in the Rogovsky Forestry Department of the Krasnoselskoye State Forestry Institution in the Minsk region. On a 2-hectare site, plantings that are drying out and damaged by spruce sponge and sawdust have been restored. After carrying out continuous sanitary cutting of spruce stands, it was decided to create mixed stands that would be more resistant to various natural factors and forest diseases. Pine, spruce, birch and oak seedlings were planted on the site during the clean-up, about 10 thousand in total.

The funds earned on the day of the republican clean-up, including at workplaces, in amounts determined voluntarily by employees, including employees whose activities are not related to the production of products (works), the provision of paid services, will be sent to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus to create a permanent exhibition of the National Historical Museum of Belarus under construction and other related jobs.
