Last weekend, our company held its annual republican subbotnik, a large-scale public event aimed at beautifying and improving the territory. Employees of the company, as well as the Minsk Printing House branch, participated in the subbotnik.
The Republican Subbotnik is a day when everyone can contribute to the transformation of their native land, the restoration of iconic places, historical and cultural treasures, memorial complexes, and military cemeteries. The funds earned on this day will be used to support important social and cultural projects across the country.
The purpose of the subbotnik was to make our city and the company’s territory cleaner, more comfortable, and more attractive for colleagues and customers. During the event, employees cleaned the company’s inner park from fallen leaves, where there is a memorial stele dedicated to fallen printing workers during the Great Patriotic War, and a recreation area, and carried out repairs and landscaping of the surrounding areas.
Despite the challenging weather conditions, the participants actively engaged in the work, demonstrating their dedication and team spirit. This event serves to strengthen the corporate spirit, promote social responsibility, and improve the environmental situation.
As a result of the day’s activities, the area’s cleanliness significantly improved, and the participants’ spirits remained high. The company’s management expresses gratitude to all those who participated and contributed to the common cause.
Thanks to joint efforts, about 19.4 million Belarusian rubles were collected at the republican subbotnik, which is almost 3 million more than at the last subbotnik, which was held on April 12.
Of the funds earned from the autumn subbotnik, 50% will be used for the construction of the National Historical Museum of Belarus and the creation of its permanent exhibition. The remaining 50% will be at the disposal of the regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee, with the possibility of allocating them to specific projects.
Holding a national subbotnik is an opportunity to take care of our Belarus, contribute to preserving its historical heritage, and improve the quality of life for its citizens!
