A preventive meeting of the labor collective with the inspector of the road patrol service of the OGAI of the Soviet Police Department of Minsk, Valentin Glinsky, took place in the State Enterprise Belarusian Printing House Publishing Co as part of the Unified Road Safety Day on the theme: “Buckle up to safety!”.
During the conversation, the representative of the State Traffic Inspectorate focused the attention of the meeting participants on the need for strict compliance with traffic Rules and the use of passive safety equipment. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of the use of seat belts by drivers and passengers, as well as child restraints when transporting minors. Separately, the inspector recalled the need to use protective helmets when driving a bicycle, personal mobility equipment and motor vehicles.
During the meeting, the innovations introduced into the Rules of the Road by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 295 dated August 4, 2025 were explained in detail. Valentin Glinsky highlighted the most significant changes, answered questions from the company’s employees and gave examples of typical violations that often lead to traffic accidents.
Special attention was also paid to the risks and security threats arising from the use of personal mobility, cycling and motor vehicles. The inspector noted that neglect of basic precautions, speeding, violation of the rules of maneuvering and inattention on the road can lead to serious consequences both for the road users themselves and for others.
Carrying out such preventive measures helps to increase the legal literacy of citizens, form a responsible attitude towards personal safety and the safety of others, as well as reduce accidents on the roads.
