The patriotic forum “Belarus under a Peaceful Sky” was held in Minsk today, bringing together employees of the organizations of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus. The staff of the Belarusian Press House also took part in this significant event, which actively supports initiatives aimed at preserving historical memory, strengthening the patriotic spirit and civic responsibility.
The Forum became a platform for discussing topical issues related to the development of patriotic education, strengthening national identity, preserving the memory of the victims of Nazism and the heroic deed of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, condemning Nazi ideology and crimes committed during the war, educating the younger generation of a sense of patriotism, civic responsibility and rejection of extremism, preventing the recurrence of such tragedies in the future. the future.
In the first part of the forum program, an award ceremony was held for the winners of a photo contest among employees of the Presidential Administration dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War. The competition, which is being held for the third time, this year received about 400 photos from employees of 50 organizations. The competition was held in three nominations: “Belarus under a peaceful sky”, “Man of Labor”, and “My Family”. The active participation of our employees in it was justified, one of the works was awarded the diploma of the winner of the competition.
In the second part of the forum, an educational and patriotic action “The Nuremberg Trials. Let’s not let them forget!” with the participation of the teaching staff of the International University “MITSO” of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.
The Nuremberg trials became a landmark event in history, when the international community for the first time condemned the crimes against peace and humanity committed by the Nazi regime. He laid the foundations of international law and became an important step in the fight against Nazism and fascism. Preserving the memory of the Nuremberg trials and its lessons is an important task for the entire international community.
Definitely, thanks to participation in this forum, each participant replenished his knowledge about the actual events and the true results of the Great Patriotic War, the unprecedented role of the USSR in the Victory over fascism, and the prevention of belittling the decisions of the Nuremberg Tribunal.
Even at the very beginning of the campaign, the project’s host, theater and film actor Evgeny Nikitin, created an atmosphere of deep respect and concentration with his strong and piercing voice. Every time his voice was heard, silence reigned in the hall, and everyone present understood that it was worth listening to every word.
Evgeny Nikitin did not just convey information – he caused listeners to reflect on the importance of historical events and their significance for our time. His intonations and emotions made you think about the consequences of oblivion. Every spoken word became a call to responsibility, a reminder that history demands our attention and memory.
As part of the campaign, the participants watched the documentary “Let’s not forget the Nuremberg Trials!”, created specifically for this campaign. At the event, a little girl performed a touching poem “Stockings”. The young actress, with spontaneity and sincerity, conveyed the full depth of feelings embedded in the lines. In the audience, you could see tears glistening in someone’s eyes, and someone could barely contain their excitement.
It is safe to say that participation in the forum was an important step towards strengthening ties between the organizations of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the formation of a united patriotic front. The staff of the Belarusian Press House will continue to actively participate in such events, contributing to the development of civic consciousness and patriotic education in the team and society.
