On February 25, 2024, our country will hold a single voting day for the first time in its sovereign history.
As part of the electoral campaign, 110 deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the eighth convocation and 12,514 deputies of local Councils of Deputies of the twenty-ninth convocation will be elected.
In light of the ongoing elections, the state enterprise “Belarusian Printing House Publishing House” is launching a patriotic campaign “PRINTING HOUSE VOTES” for employees and members of their families. To participate in the campaign, you need to take your photo at the polling station or the background of a special poster located on it, and then send the resulting photos by email ideolog@domdruku.by .
Please note that you are allowed to take photographs at the polling station. But there is a nuance that must be taken into account. If you want to take a memorable photo of your voting process, you need to contact the chairman of the precinct commission and ask his permission. The chairman of the precinct commission determines the place from which it is allowed to take a photo illustrating the voting process.
It is also prohibited at voting stations to photograph and post on the Internet the ballot on which your “vote” is indicated. This is due to ensuring the secrecy of expression of will. Such actions can be regarded as campaigning on the main voting day or during early voting, which is fraught with administrative liability and fines. In addition, you cannot photograph other participants in the election process without their consent and the consent of the chairman of the precinct commission.
Voting is a conscious step we take to contribute to the future of our country. Voting means taking responsibility. By voting, you participate in choosing the path along which our Belarus will move and develop further.
