TRAINING COURSES FOR YOUTH TRADE UNION ACTIVISTS “NATIONAL SECURITY, PEACE INITIATIVES AND VALUE CREATION”

From June 5 to 9, a module of training courses for youth trade union activists is being held at the center of youth initiatives of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus at the Logoisky holiday home. The topic of the module is “National Security, Peace Initiatives and Value Creation.”

The youth wing of the trade union committee of the House of Press is actively participating in the training seminar. Thus, as part of the courses, a sightseeing tour of the Republican Palace of Culture of Trade Unions and an educational meeting with Igor Tur, a political observer for the ONT TV channel, on the topic “National leader as a factor of national security: position and actions” have already taken place. The training program will continue with a series of courses on the topics of media wars, fakes, security of the information field and compliance with information hygiene, the socio-economic state of the country, economic and personnel security, the current political agenda, and issues of ensuring peace initiatives. Work will also take place on individual plans of FPB member organizations in relevant ministries and departments, including meetings with their leadership. At the end of the training, a meeting is planned with the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, Mikhail Orda, after which documents on completion of training will be presented.

During educational programs, its participants have a unique opportunity to ask interesting questions, discuss plans for the further development of the trade union sphere and learn first-hand what role is assigned to promising youth. Communication takes place in the format of an “open dialogue”. Participants share their ideas and proposals, exchange experiences with colleagues and discuss current topics in the development of their enterprises and the country as a whole.

It is worth noting that this is not the first season of youth trade union courses organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. The start was given in 2019. During this time, more than 350 people from among the most active and promising youth in the industry received knowledge.
