THE TEAM OF THE PRESS HOUSE ALSO JOINED IN THE UNITED SAFETY DAY

The purpose of the Single Safety Day is to develop a culture of life safety in society, as well as to promote safe living conditions for the population. First of all, we are talking about carrying out information and preventive measures at enterprises and organizations in the city.

In particular, we are talking about developing evacuation plans and other actions necessary in the event of an emergency.

During the action, exercises and training were held to respond to emergencies of a natural and man-made nature, safe evacuation from the building was practiced, and the warning system was checked.

The objectives of the “Single Safety Day” and the exercises at the Press House are to conduct educational work with the workforce.

Procedure in case of fire:

If a fire or signs of combustion are detected (heavy smoke, burning smell, increased temperature, etc.), workers are obliged to:

immediately report this by calling 101 or 112 to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (in this case, you must give the address of the facility, the location of the fire, and provide your last name), as well as the fire watchman on duty by internal telephone 236;

turn off all electrical appliances in the room, close windows, vents, doors – tightly, but not with a key;

cover the respiratory system with improvised means (wet handkerchief, scarf, etc.); evacuate from the premises in accordance with the floor-by-floor evacuation plans, while taking measures to evacuate other people from the building, notifying about the fire by voice or by pressing the IPR (manual fire detector) buttons located on the walls of the corridors;

You should move in a smoky room while bending down along the walls, since the concentration of smoke below is lower;

report the fire to the administration of the enterprise;

gather in designated places (100m from the building, according to ongoing evacuation training) to verify numbers.

Extinguishing a fire that has arisen is organized and carried out immediately from the moment it is detected by employees of the enterprise (if there is no threat to life); all fire extinguishing means available in the premises are used to extinguish it.

It is vital for the workforce to know what emergency situations can happen to them. On the Single Safety Day, we clearly showed what could happen, which bodies are involved in eliminating emergencies. Today’s meeting is also educational in nature. Now employees clearly understand how to behave in difficult situations and are ready, if necessary, to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.

Thanks to all services for the work done!
