THE STAFF OF THE PRESS HOUSE TOOK PART IN THE SOLEMN CEREMONY OF LAYING FLOWERS AT THE STELE “MINSK – THE HERO CITY”

Minsk celebrated the City Day at the weekend, it turned 957 years old. Traditionally, the City Day celebration began with a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the stele.

The prologue of the solemn event was a theatrical performance. Creative teams of the capital presented performances that reminded the audience about the history of Belarus and Minsk.

Representatives of the Minsk city Executive Committee, district administrations, the public, enterprises of the city, law enforcement agencies, deputies, guests from twin cities, veterans, and youth gathered in a landmark place for Belarusians.

The participants honored the memory of those who defended the city, gave their lives for the liberation of the capital and the whole of Belarus.
