Last weekend, the atmosphere of a bright sports festival, solidarity and pride in friends and colleagues who showed their strength and talents in a variety of competitions prevailed at the RSC “Silichi”.
As Yuri Nazarov, the Managing Director of the Presidential Affairs, noted, welcoming the participants of the Spartakiad, it is a big plus that so many sports and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts work in the organizations of the system. Sport, team spirit and a common goal to win unite people very well and set them up for the best achievements in life and work. He also stressed that this year is special because Belarus celebrates the 80th anniversary of liberation from Nazi invaders, so we dedicate our sporting victories to the victory of our ancestors over fascism. This year is also notable for the fact that the Office of Presidential Affairs celebrates the 30th anniversary of its creation. The Spartakiad in Silichi is dedicated to this holiday as well.
The difference between the current Spartakiad and the previous ones was the addition of creative musical numbers of national teams to the program, but the innovations did not stop there. A team of deputy Managers of the President’s affairs came to the sports ground. It turned out to be a real surprise for all the participants. Many people know about the athletic training of the deputy Managers, so the appearance of such strong rivals in the arena made the teams gather their courage even more. But the tension eased a little when it was announced that the team of the Presidential Administration office was participating in the Spartakiad outside the competition. And they were worried, as it became clear after the results of the competitions, for good reason.
The victory in the second summer Spartakiad among employees of the Presidential Administration organizations was won by the White Tigers team, which brought together employees of health, wellness and recreation organizations: Yunost, Priozerny, Sosny and Borovoye sanatoriums, the Republican Clinical Medical Center, the Masherov Service Complex, the Center hygiene and epidemiology and the “Bellecenter”. The second place was taken by Agroholding, the third step of the podium by the Keepers of the Forest.
Among the leadership teams in the towns, the “Keepers of the Forest” won, the second place was taken by the “Lightning” team (housing and communal services and construction workers), the leaders from the Agroholding closed the top three.
In the personal championship among managers in the Basketball Ball competition, Alexander Poznyak, director of the Vostochny trading house, took the first place, Alexander Los, director of the Pruzhansky Dairy Plant, took the second place, and Vasily Kazun, director of the Teterinskoye GLHU, took the third place.
The Agroholding team won the park volleyball competition, the United team took second place, and the White Tigers team took third place.

Following the results of the competition, the United team, which included employees of the Department for Humanitarian Affairs of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Palace of the Republic, the Minsk Printing House, the Belarusian Press House, the Republican Cultural and Educational Center, the Belarusian Lotteries, Promtransinvest and BelExpo enterprises, won 6th place.
