THE RESULTS OF THE SECOND SEASON OF THE YOUTH INITIATIVES COMPETITION HAVE BEEN SUMMED UP

The commission for assessing and selecting applications from participants in the competition of youth initiatives, chaired by the Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets, included experts in various fields of youth policy – representatives of executive authorities, the deputy corps, leading public associations of the country, the FPB, the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the chairman of the Republican Council working youth, marketing specialist at the Printing House Anton Pavelev.

The acceptance of applications started on April 8 and ended on May 8. The organizer of the competition for the selection of youth initiatives is the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, and the conduct of the competition and coordination of the implementation of youth initiatives is carried out by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. During this time, the organizers received 219 applications from youth initiatives. These are projects aimed at patriotic education, the development of creativity, youth media, sports, the formation of a healthy lifestyle among young people, working with children and youth with inclusion, the creation of creative spaces, and the development of educational projects. In addition, applications were received in the field of information technology, landscaping and international cooperation.

Based on the results of the second season of the competition for youth initiatives, 20 best projects were identified that will receive government financial support. It is also planned to announce such a competition for the second time in September, which will allow our young citizens and public associations to express themselves and receive small grants for 2024.

Based on the results of the last selection, the competition commission identified 18 best initiatives: 7 projects from Minsk, 4 each from the Vitebsk and Mogilev regions, 1 each from the Brest, Gomel, and Grodno regions, the financing of which was supported by the Head of State in 2022 for a total amount of 400 thousand. white rubles.
