As part of the preventive work with the workforce, a meeting was held in one of the workshops with Alexander Mikhailovich Grechny, head of the sector of the state emergency prevention and Response system and civil defense of the Sovetsky District Emergency Department. The purpose of the event is to draw the attention of the Press House staff to the problem of deaths and injuries from fires and drowning, and to increase the safety culture at the enterprise as a whole.
Alexander Mikhailovich began his speech by providing information on fire statistics. It’s winter outside, which means that most people, trying to heat their homes, neglect simple but very important safety rules. For example, an overload of the network or a furnace breakdown leads to the fact that people lose property acquired over the years and a roof over their heads, and in some cases, their lives. Then he expertly informed the audience about the observance of safety rules both at the workplace and at home. He demonstrated and explained the principle of operation of an autonomous fire detector, recommending that they be equipped with their living quarters, then took note of the measures of responsibility for gross violations of security measures.
At the end of the meeting, he spoke about primary fire extinguishing equipment and clearly showed how to use a fire extinguisher, and also recalled the prevention of leaving young children unattended, providing assistance to elderly parents and safety rules in reservoirs in winter. After that, he answered the questions of the staff.
