THE HEAD OF STATE ESTABLISHED A COMMEMORATIVE BADGE FOR THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

On July 18, the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 296 on the establishment of a commemorative badge “30 year of Independence of the Republic of Belarus”.

The document approved the regulation on the badge, its description and image.

The badge is a round medallion, on the front side of which there is a golden emblem of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus in the center, and along the perimeter there is a golden ring made of the ornament of the national flag and the inscription “1994 – 2024”. On the reverse side there is an inscription “Kyraynytva spravami Prazidenta Respubliki Belarus”.

Employees of the Office of the President of Belarus and organizations that are part of its system or whose shares are under its management will be awarded a commemorative badge if they have achieved high results in their official (labor) activities, perform their duties exemplary, have made a significant contribution to solving the tasks facing the Office of the President of Belarus. Other persons may also be presented for the award for effective assistance in solving the designated tasks, active development and strengthening of interdepartmental relations.

On August 4, 2024, the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its establishment.

Thanks to the painstaking and purposeful work of the team at all stages of formation and development, the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus has been formed as an authoritative public administration body with important tasks and diverse functions.

Over the years, the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus has become a large, multidisciplinary structure that carries out almost all types of economic activities, has high potential, modern material and technical base, and highly professional human resources.

The dynamic, well-established work of 66 organizations and branches, which employ more than 24 thousand employees, allows us to solve responsible tasks in various areas: financial, logistical, social, household, medical support for public administration bodies; organization of recreation and recreation of citizens; creation of appropriate conditions for official delegations of foreign states to stay in the Republic of Belarus, international organizations, diplomatic missions; organization of state policy in the field of humanitarian activities of legal entities and individuals of the Republic of Belarus, management of activities for the organization of accounting, storage, evaluation, sale or other use of property seized, arrested, as well as confiscated or otherwise converted into state income; ensuring the preservation of unique protected areas of Belarus of national and international importance; preservation and the development of artistic crafts; the development of an agricultural industry specializing in the cultivation of significant crops; production of high-quality food products.

The Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus pays great attention to maintaining close cooperation with various state bodies, organizations and departments of the Republic of Belarus, establishing new contacts with international organizations on humanitarian issues.

Currently, the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus is actively continuing work to strengthen the material and technical base, including the introduction of digitalization, improving the quality of manufactured goods (services, works), and further development of promising and new types of activities. Thus, the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus contributes to ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the country.
