Olga Chemodanova, head of the Main Department for Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee, met with the updated Youth councils of the Minsk city district administrations at the city hall.
The chairmen of the Youth Councils of the Moscow, Pervomaisky and Sovetsky districts told about who joined the new staff and what projects the young people plan to implement this year.
By the way, similar meetings have already been held with activists from other districts of the capital.
In the new convocation, 25 students from completely different professional fields gathered in each district council. These are medical workers, teachers, industrial workers and students of general secondary education, as well as metropolitan universities.
Council members are expected to visit businesses and organizations in the district to identify the needs of young people and their initiatives, including promoting the youth councils themselves. The events will be aimed at improving the districts of the capital, their landscaping and the creation of youth spaces to help urban structures make the city even cleaner and more convenient for its residents and guests. In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory over the Fascist invaders, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, who are not very many left, as well as veterans of labor, should visit. Provide assistance to those in need. To express oneself in volunteerism, promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen human resources and much more.
The Youth Council is an opportunity for young people to express themselves and gain certain competencies that will be useful in the future.
It is gratifying that a representative of our Press House has joined the Youth Council under the administration of the Sovetsky district of Minsk.
