SINGLE INFORMATION DAY

March 21, 2024 is an information day on the topic: “ Republic of Belarus: projects of the future .”

March 15, 2024 marked 30 years since the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. Its main norm was the introduction of the presidency, which significantly determined the development trajectory of our country.

By choosing the course proposed by President A.G. Lukashenko, we avoided wars and upheavals, preserved and increased the achievements of the Soviet period, and ensured independence in key sectors – industry, energy, agriculture, healthcare and others. In the difficult situation in the global economy, everyone in our country is guaranteed by the state a job and an appropriate salary, accessible education and medicine, life safety and assistance in any difficult life situation.

Three decades later, we can confidently say that the sovereign and independent Republic of Belarus has taken place. But stopping there and resting on your laurels risks being thrown to the sidelines of history. Any healthy nation is distinguished by the desire to dream, set new goals, and live for the sake of the future. Belarusians are no exception. Today we are laying the foundation for our tomorrow, developing projects that will allow us to be strong and successful in a rapidly changing world. Technological breakthroughs, as a condition for our self-preservation, are no longer needed by us, but by our children.

Today we successfully launch our satellites into space. We confidently joined the club of nuclear powers. We’re storming Antarctica. We develop advanced IT and biotechnologies that are in demand all over the world. And we are not talking so much about specific achievements, discoveries and inventions, yes, this is important. But even more important is the project-based strategic thinking of the current generation of Belarusians, the generation of creators.

The centuries-old history of Belarus testifies: difficulties have never stopped Belarusians . On the contrary, they motivated me and helped me solve the most ambitious tasks.

The Republic of Belarus has serious growth points that will determine the face of the country in the coming decades . Achievements in the space, nuclear, and biotechnological industries bring a synergistic effect to the national economy and serve as a driver for related industries, the creation of new industries, and training of personnel in the latest specialties.

These areas of activity become a measure of the country’s success, a symbol of a high dream. People who have a lofty dream are not afraid of the Maidans.

As the Head of State emphasized on October 20, 2023 at a meeting on improving the system of planning and monitoring the implementation of strategic projects: “This is the future not only of any system, but of any country as a whole. Strategic projects, if we talk about Belarus, are the future of our country… Without a future, not a single person, not a single system, not a single state can exist . ”

There is simply no other alternative for Belarus.
