SINGLE INFORMATION DAY

April 18, 2024 is an information day on the topic: “The All-Belarusian People’s Assembly is a guarantor of political stability and sovereignty.”

On this day, the information and educational project “Open Knowledge” took place in the atrium of the “Stolitsa” shopping center, the central topic of which was the discussion of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly as the highest representative body of omnipotence. In addition, 9 studios of the district administrations of our capital, including representatives of the workforce of the publishing house “Belarusian House of Printing”, joined the broadcast via videoconference.

In the sovereign Republic of Belarus, the principles of democracy are consistently strengthened. Dialogue platforms are being held in our country, landmark bills are being widely discussed, work with citizens’ appeals is being improved, people are striving to take an active part in the development of the regions and the republic as a whole, and there has been an improvement in party life.

Vivid examples of the unity of Belarusians are the support by the absolute majority of citizens (about 83% of those who took part in voting) of the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko at the constitutional referendum on February 27, 2022, the results of a single voting day on February 25, 2024. Turnout more than 73% voters in the 2024 elections convincingly demonstrated that the Belarusian people are the true masters of their own destiny.

The All-Belarusian People’s Assembly (hereinafter referred to as the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly) is a reliable support for both the people and the authorities. This political institution, designed to be a guarantor of political stability and sovereignty of the country, was created back in 1996 on the initiative of the Head of State. With this step, national leader A.G. Lukashenko saved the country from civil confrontation at that dramatic time for our society. It was at the first SNC that the paradigm of the Belarusian model of socio-economic development was first formulated as a combination of the advantages of a market economy with ensuring social justice and effective social protection of citizens.

The new edition of the Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus secured the constitutional status of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly as the highest representative body of democracy. The Supreme National Assembly actually represents a “superstructure” over all government bodies, the politically formed voice of the Belarusian people.

In 2024, all the main components of the Belarusian political system successfully pass the quality test. The All-Belarusian People’s Assembly became a symbol of national unity.

Participants in the electoral process demonstrate support for the President’s course and the constitutional system. Election campaigns have led to the formation of a category of responsible politicians in Belarus – people with life experience who are ready to lead people in the name of creation for the benefit of the Fatherland. At the same time, solidarity does not imply unanimity. The path to achieving common goals can be seen in different ways. The main thing is the focus on constructive dialogue and the closest possible interaction in the interests of the development of the state and society.

“A distinctive feature of the Belarusian model of statehood has always been the solidary style of interaction between all branches of government and government agencies. The absence of disagreements, petty struggles between political groups and the mood for constructive cooperation helped us defend national interests and achieve the necessary results,” emphasized the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko at a meeting held on March 21, 2024 with deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the National Republic meeting of the seventh convocation. Speaking about the important role of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly for society and the state, national leader A.G. Lukashenko especially noted: “With the formation of this constitutional body, the country will, in fact, enter a new historical stage of its development . ”
