Let us remind you that on August 12, the Silichi RGC hosted a sports competition among employees of organizations of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation. The sports festival brought together about 1,000 people, thanks to which an atmosphere of sports excitement, friendly communication and good mood reigned.
7 national teams on an industry basis from representatives of organizations included in the system of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, who competed in six types of competitions, took part in the sports competitions. Thus, representatives of the Belarusian House of Press became part of Team 7 (team “United”), which also included employees of the Department of Humanitarian Activities, the Minsk Printing House, the Republican Cultural and Educational Center, and the enterprises “Belarusian Lotteries”, “Promtransinvest” and “BelExpo”.
In addition to classic sports such as park volleyball and tug of war, the Spartakiad participants took part in numerous stages of team trials, sports relay races, water relay races and the “Health” all-around event.
For example, in team trials, participants had to go through 7 stages (football biathlon, aerial shooting range, transport logistics, skyscraper, drum, house of the sun and crossword quests).
The sports relay race also consisted of 7 stages, in which participants competed with various equipment.
But in the all-around “Health” participants performed exercises such as running 60 and 100 meters, push-ups, pull-ups, long jumps and track and field cross-country at 500 and 1000 meters.
In the water relay race, crews had to cover a distance on inflatable SUP boards, fill a container with water and deliver as much water as possible to the shore in a limited time.
In each type of competition, winners and runners-up were determined who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
In the all-around “Health”, the best individual results of the participants were also determined (separately among women and men in two age categories: 18 – 34 and 35+). We congratulate our employee Andrei Kozlyakovsky, a ventilation engineer in the department of the chief power engineer, on winning 1st place in the individual competition in the age group 18 – 34 years.
In the most spectacular and literally hot tug-of-war competition, our team “United” Team 7 took a worthy 3rd place. Congratulations to our real and strong boys and men.
The leaders competed among themselves in individual competitions in air gun shooting and playing small towns. Thus, our general director Andrei Nikolaevich took 5th place in the standings for towns. In the leadership competitions, the best results were shown by the leaders of the two national teams “Molniya” and “United”.
Throughout the entire duration of the Olympics, fans and guests were able to demonstrate their strength, ingenuity and abilities. Various competitions and tests were also organized for them, after passing which they could receive a prize. The prize fund for the winners of competitions among spectators was established by the organizations of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
Based on the amount of points that the teams scored for all types of competitions, the winners of the Spartakiad were determined:
1st place – team “Agroholding” (employees of organizations of the Agro-Industrial Holding of the Presidential Administration).
2nd place – team “Forest Guardians” (employees of environmental and forestry institutions).
3rd place – team “White Tigers” (workers of sanatoriums, healthcare institutions, tourism and recreation).
4th place – team “Molniya” (employees of construction, housing and communal services and transport organizations).
5th place – team “United”.
6th place – “Magnificent Eight” team (employees of trade, catering and hotel organizations).
7th place – team “Rodnae” (employees of organizations of the association “Belkhudozhpromysly”).
All winners and prize-winners of the Spartakiad were awarded medals and diplomas. The winners and runners-up in individual championships, as well as members of the national teams that won the overall competition, received valuable prizes.
A bright sports festival united work teams and heads of organizations of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus in an effort to achieve the best results not only in professional activities, but also on sports grounds.
