OJSC “Ivatsevichdrev” is one of the largest Belarusian woodworking enterprises, which specializes in the production of particle boards and furniture. The city-forming enterprise is more than 100 years old. The workforce consists of more than 850 employees. Rich production experience, multiplied by modern technologies and qualified personnel, allow Ivatsevichdrev OJSC to maintain the status of the flagship of the woodworking industry of Belarus and make the company’s products in demand and competitive. Since 2021, Ivatsevichdrev OJSC has been the management company of the BYSPAN woodworking holding, uniting about 10 largest manufacturers of a wide range of wood products.
The seminar, led by the Administrative Officer of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Nazarov, was held on August 4 at the leading woodworking enterprise OJSC Ivatsevichdrev (Brest region). The seminar was attended by the heads of all organizations included in the system of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, as well as a number of managers and specialists of personnel services of the largest organizations.
The agenda of the seminar included a meeting with the General Director of Ivatsevichdrev OJSC Alexander Ilnitsky and relevant specialists of the enterprise, a study of practical experience in organizing work on managing production processes and personnel at Ivatsevichdrev OJSC, key processes in organizing work with personnel, experience in implementing a comprehensive automated information system ( ERP) into administrative and production processes.
During a visit to production workshops for the production of particle boards and furniture, lean manufacturing tools (LEAN) were studied in improving the business processes of the enterprise, methods of motivating personnel to achieve high results in work, as well as possible further implementation, taking into account the specifics of their production.
