The “Our Children” campaign will take place from December 15, 2023 to January 15, 2024.
Traditionally, employees of the Belarusian Press House will congratulate children in inpatient social service institutions. These are 9 orphanages, as well as the Republican Rehabilitation Center for disabled children.
Currently , 1.4 thousand children and young disabled people live in boarding homes , and about 1.3 thousand children with disabilities annually undergo rehabilitation at the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children. And they all believe in the New Year’s miracle… Just like we did in childhood.
The heads of all republican government bodies, local executive and administrative bodies will visit children’s boarding institutions and family-type homes, guardianship and foster families, families raising disabled children, correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation centers, children’s hospitals, government institutions that provide inpatient care social services, round-the-clock departments of territorial social service centers, nursing hospitals and hospices.
Let’s #TOGETHER congratulate children and senior citizens on the New Year, Merry Christmas and give gifts and help in solving existing problems.
During the “Our Children” campaign, among other things, a charity children’s New Year’s party is planned at the Palace of the Republic, a republican New Year’s ball and performances with presentation of gifts at the Palace of Independence. Participants in this action will be students of cadet schools and specialized lyceums, winners of Olympiads, creative competitions and sports competitions, students with success in social work, orphans and children without parental care, disabled children, children from large and low-income families, families refugees and others.
