Last week, our company hosted a solemn event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the vocational education system of the Republic of Belarus. The meeting brought together industry veterans and young students, becoming a platform for sharing experiences and inspiring new generations of specialists.
The system of vocational and technical education plays a key role in the training of qualified personnel in demand in the modern labor market. Over the 85 years of its existence, it has undergone significant changes, constantly adapting to the challenges of the time and the needs of the economy. Today, vocational education continues to serve as the foundation for the development of industry and the service sector, including the printing industry.
At the event, veterans of the vocational education system shared their memories of their first steps in the profession, difficulties and achievements. Of particular interest were the stories about the history of the College of graphic Arts, acquaintance with the development of technology and new teaching methods.
Natalia Iosifovna Lapko, senior master of the educational institution “Minsk State College of Polygraphy named after V.Z.Khoruzhey”, a veteran of vocational education: “I am pleased to see how education is changing, what new opportunities are opening up for young people. It is a great mission to transfer knowledge, and I am proud to be a part of this system.”
College students got a unique chance to ask questions to experienced professionals, learn about professional standards, and be inspired by success stories that confirm the importance of choosing a vocational path.
Kirill Gromyko, a 2nd-year student specializing in Flat printing and flexographic Printing at the College of Graphic Arts: “This meeting was a real discovery for me. It is an invaluable experience to hear first-hand about the difficulties and successes of those who built the vocational education system. I am confident that I will be able to apply the knowledge I have gained and develop the right approach to my profession.”
At the end of the meeting, the leadership of the Press House addressed the youth, who emphasized the importance of the systematic development of vocational education and promised to expand practical training opportunities, introduce modern technologies and continue to strengthen ties with the college.
Franz Ivanovich Kutko, head of the offset shop: “We are united by a common cause – the training of highly qualified specialists. The experience of veterans is invaluable, and the enthusiasm of young people inspires us to new projects and achievements.”
The celebration of the 85th anniversary of the vocational education system has become an important event for the College of Graphic Arts, strengthening the bond between generations and emphasizing the importance of vocational training for the future of the country. Meetings of this format are not only honorable, but also extremely useful for the motivation and professional growth of young professionals.
