During the meeting with the staff of the Press House, guests from the UGAI of the Minsk City Executive Committee drew the attention of those present to the unconditional importance of preventing child traffic injuries before the start of the school year, offenses in the field of traffic rules, as well as improving road safety.
During the conversation, the need for compliance with traffic rules by all participants was noted: both drivers of vehicles and pedestrians. It is the rules of the road that are the basic safety measures on the roads and underlie the fight against possible accidents in order to prevent them as much as possible. The meeting participants also paid great attention to the preparation of official and personal vehicles for operation on the eve of the autumn-winter period, calling for vigilance and caution when participating in traffic.
The invited guests reminded that a special comprehensive event “Attention — children!” is taking place on September 5. During this period, drivers are required to move with low beam headlights or daytime running lights on the vehicle.
During the meeting, those interested could ask questions and receive competent answers overnight from the mouth of the staff of the UGAI Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee. At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed confidence in the positive effect of the preventive measure.
