LABOR ACTION DEDICATED TO THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT VICTORY

On the day of the republican clean-up, the staff of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, together with youth activists of subordinate organizations, worked on forest planting in the Krasnoselskoye State forestry institution in the Minsk region. Volunteers have planted more than 6 thousand pine and spruce trees on an area of 1.2 hectares of the Rogovsky Forestry forest fund in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The participation in the event from the House of Press was:

– Paveliev Anton Vladimirovich, Head of the Ideological Work Sector, Chairman of the Youth Council of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus;

– Nikita Andreevich Shevel, Deputy Head of the production and publishing center.

As noted by the youth themselves, they participate in clean–up days and events to perpetuate the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War with an eye to the future – for their children, grandchildren and their bright tomorrow. So that after a few decades, the planted seedlings will turn into a mighty forest, through which you can walk, breathe fresh air, pick berries and mushrooms, spend time with your family and friends and, of course, enjoy the results of your work. In the Year of Landscaping and the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, such events take on an additional meaning – it is also the continuity of generations, which helps to transfer valuable knowledge and experience from older generations to young ones.

Remembering the landmark date, the participants of the event laid flowers at the mass grave of the crew of tankers of the 25th separate anti-tank fighter division, who died during the liberation of the village of Shershuny on July 2, 1944.

At the end of the labor campaign dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a memorial sign was erected at the site of the new plantings.
