It should be reminded that on February 14, the winter sports contest among employees of the organizations of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus was held at the RSC “Silichi”.
Eight national teams of subordinate organizations of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus and their leaders competed for places on the podium.
The participants of the Spartakiad took part in various winter disciplines, including the “Puss in a Poke” team trials, the mixed ski relay, mark hockey, laser tag, ice skating races with elements of figure skating, as well as curling, wood chopping and bandy competitions for the heads of organizations included in the Administration system of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
The lively atmosphere of the competition, the support of colleagues, spectacular performances by athletes, soldiers’ porridge with tea, outdoor trade, as well as contests with prizes for fans and a concert and entertainment program organized by the Youth Council of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus, created a mood of unity and rivalry in the best traditions of sports.
From the number of points that the team scored in all types of competitions, the winners of the Spartakiad managed to win:
• The 3rd place was taken by the Molniya team (employees of construction, housing and communal services and transport organizations).
• 2nd place – the United team (employees of the Department of Humanitarian Affairs of the Presidential Administration and organizations of various fields of activity).
• 1st place – “White Tigers” (workers of sanatoriums, healthcare institutions, tourism and recreation). The team was awarded a rolling team cup established by the organizing committee for the first time.
