Dear compatriots!
The date of September 17, 1939 is a symbol of the historical design of the Belarusian nation and the sincere desire of Belarusians, divided against their will, to live as one family in their own home. This holiday is filled with deep meaning, recalls the traditions of national accord, emphasizes the continuity of generations, the indestructibility and self-sufficiency of the Belarusian nation and statehood. This is an invaluable testament for children and grandchildren – to protect the sovereignty of our country, peace and unity in our native land, because at all times the main thing for Belarus was the unity of the people. This is the historical foundation that connects our past, present and future. September 17 shows the world our invincibility to external challenges and cataclysms. Today we see how important cohesion, unity and community in spiritual and moral values are in order to resist and sometimes stand up in difficult situations. And today we can say with confidence that the Belarusian people are united in choosing a strategic course for the development of a strong, sovereign and prosperous country.
Throughout its century-long history, the Belarusian Press House has demonstrated the power of unity for the development of the enterprise, and, of course, our country. Regardless of our fields of activity, we are all united by the fate of Belarus. And it is important for us to appreciate and cherish it, to glorify it with our successes and achievements.
