On October 31, the first meeting of the Youth Council took place in Minsk at the President Hotel.
The Youth Council of employees of organizations included in the system of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus was formed during youth forums, which were held among groups of organizations united by areas of activity. During October of this year, 19 such regional forums were held, which covered more than 3 thousand young people under the age of 31 working in 67 subordinate organizations of the department.
From among the participants of these forums, delegates were elected to the final Youth Forum of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus “Youth and the Future”, which will be held with the participation of the Administrative Officer of the President of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Nazarov on November 10 at the Palace of the Republic.
For reference: The Youth Council of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus was formed in order to identify the needs and opportunities of young people for effective self-realization, organize the participation of working youth in socio-economic and socio-political processes, develop proposals and recommendations aimed at developing social responsibility and civic-patriotic orientation young people from among working youth organizations.
The Youth Council included young workers from 20 organizations, one of them is the youth representative of our Printing House, Girgel Kirill, a process engineer in the production department.
In order for the members of the Youth Council to get to know each other better, communicate and decide on the choice of council assets, trainings on team building and leadership competencies were organized for them. Also, the meeting participants were asked to develop several projects for practical implementation directly by the council members and with the involvement of other young employees of the organizations.
As a result, four projects were developed and presented, which were united by one goal – to secure young people in production, to show a working person and a patriot.
After which the elections of the Youth Council activists took place. A chairman, deputy, and secretary of the council have been elected, as well as coordinators who will be the link between youth in various fields of activity and the Youth Council in order to collect, summarize questions and suggestions from young workers of all organizations of the system.
