EXCURSION TO THE PARK OF INTERACTIVE HISTORY “GRAND DUTY OF SULA”

What could be interesting, unusual and unknown 50 km from Minsk? Everything has been studied and built up, but islands of history can still be found, the main thing is to look hard. One of these islands is the Sula Park Museum in the Stolbtsovsky district. It was this picturesque place that the workers of the Printing House visited over the weekend as part of an excursion organized by the trade union committee of the Printing House, as a reward for their work and participation in the citywide cleanup.

Sula is centuries of history gathered in one place. In the Sula park-museum, the excursion participants visited interactive animation platforms and museum exhibitions dedicated to significant stages of our history: pagan sites and a temple with an Old Slavic rite of purification by fire, visited the Varangian pier, rode along the river on a drakkar, and enjoyed the charm of a 19th-century Belarusian estate . The Museum of the History of the Estate told about the heyday of the estate, told about the life and way of life of that time, the interesting and partly tragic fate of the owners of Sula – the Lensky family. We practiced iron forging, medieval dancing and tasting local dishes. But it’s better to see once than to hear or read five times, so look at the photo report on the last excursion:

Liked? But the photographs show only one percent of all the splendor that awaited us in this unique place!
