CONGRATULATIONS TO THE “UNITED” ON THE VICTORY 3RD PLACE IN THE WINTER SPARTAKIAD OF THE AFFAIRS MANAGEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

7 national teams on an industry basis from representatives of organizations included in the system of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, who competed in six types of competitions, took part in the sports competitions. Thus, representatives of the Belarusian House of Press became part of Team 7 (team “United”), which also included employees of the Department of Humanitarian Activities, the Minsk Printing House, the Republican Cultural and Educational Center, and the enterprises “Belarusian Lotteries”, “Promtransinvest” and “BelExpo”.

Participants of the Spartakiad went through numerous stages of team tests, a mixed biathlon relay, a marksman hockey player, laser tag, ice skating races with elements of figure skating, and cross-country skiing with obstacles. Along with their employees, managers took part in the competition, competing with each other in curling and air rifle shooting.

As in the summer sports competition, the winners and runners-up who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places were determined in each type of competition.

Thus, the “United” national team took the following places in the team competition:

• 1st place – “Sharp Hockey Player” competition;
• 3rd place – curling competition;
• 3rd place – ice skating races with elements of figure skating.

In the individual competition, members of the national team took:

• 1st place – “Sharp Hockey Player” competition;
• 3rd place – ice skating races with elements of figure skating.

Based on the amount of points that the teams scored for all types of competitions, the winners of the Spartakiad were determined:

• 3rd place – team “United”.
• 2nd place – team “Agroholding” (employees of organizations of the Agro-Industrial Holding of the Presidential Administration).
• 1st place – team “White Tigers” (workers of sanatoriums, healthcare institutions, tourism and recreation).

All winners and prize-winners of the Spartakiad were awarded medals and diplomas, and the winners and prize-winners in individual championships, as well as members of the national teams that won the overall competition, received valuable prizes.

At the end of the closing ceremony of the winter sports competition, its organizers assured that there will definitely be a SUMMER SPARTAKIAD!

A bright sports festival united work teams and heads of organizations of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus in an effort to achieve the best results not only in professional activities, but also on sports grounds.
