DOMPECHATOVSKIE DOZHINKI

Autumn is the time to harvest and enjoy what is grown with your own hands. I can no longer remember the exact date from which the House of Printing has a tradition of holding a harvest exhibition, but we can say with confidence that for at least 10 years.

In addition to traditional vegetables, fruits and flowers, carefully grown on their plots, the results of homemade preparations were displayed on the tables, as well as crafts made from vegetables, lovingly made with their own hands.

Also, during the exhibition, anyone could participate in master classes, contests and sweepstakes, receive prizes and answers to questions from experienced vegetable growers and gardeners, as well as personally plunge into the summer-autumn tasting marathon.

It is pleasant that every year participation in the exhibition attracts more and more employees of the enterprise: plant management, editorial office of the magazine “on screens”, newspaper, offset and bookbinding shops, production and publishing center, special production and canteen. This year is no exception.

The works of the participants were evaluated by a competent jury, which included the management of the enterprise and the trade union committee.

At the end of the tasting, the jury determined that unity and friendship had won at the Harvest 2024 festival. It is especially valuable that the date of the Domopechat dozhinki coincided with the celebration of National Unity Day in the country. Throughout its century-long history, the Belarusian Press House has demonstrated and continues to demonstrate the power of unity for the development of the enterprise, and, of course, our country. Regardless of our fields of activity, we are all united by the fate of Belarus. And it is important for us to appreciate and cherish it, to glorify it with our successes and achievements.

At the end of the holiday, all the participants received well-deserved awards from the jury. And the main gift is a good mood and hope for future meetings, generously shared by everyone!

It is safe to say that next year there will be a harvest holiday!
