On October 2, the First Youth Forum of employees of organizations of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus “Youth and the Future” was held at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Publishing House “Belarusian House of Printing”. His work began in a solemn atmosphere – with a requiem meeting at the memorial dedicated to the feat of Belarusian printers during the Great Patriotic War. The forum participants honored the memory of the fallen but undefeated heroes-printers with a minute of silence.
The guest of honor of the meeting, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Ruslan Chernetsky, said: “In Belarus, patriotism is not just a word from a newspaper article, not an abstract concept. This is an integral part of the national consciousness. In a country that lost every third person in the greatest of world wars, it cannot be otherwise. There are sacred concepts, there are unshakable principles. Patriotic traditions are passed on from generation to generation. They also exist in Russian cinema. I have had to play in “war” films more than once. And I am happy when I manage to embody an idea in my roles that will resonate in the hearts of the audience. A striking example of patriotic cinema is the premiere film “On the Other Shore”, which every Belarusian should see. I starred in this film. I have chosen my shore and will be faithful to it to the end. Just like the heroes who gave their lives for Belarus…”
