THE WOMEN’S COLLECTIVE OF THE BELARUSIAN PRESS HOUSE TOOK PART IN THE REGIONAL WOMEN’S FORUM OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

On May 20, 2026, representatives of the women’s collective of the Belarusian House of Press took part in the regional Women’s forum of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus “Labor, Creation, Future”, which was held on the basis of the Palace of the Republic, the basic organization that ensures the holding of the event in the group. The group of organizations of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus at the regional level includes: the republican unitary enterprise “National Exhibition Center “BelExpo”, the state institution “Palace of the Republic”, the state institution “Republican Cultural and Educational Center”, the Republican unitary enterprise “Belarusian Lotteries”, the Department of Humanitarian Affairs, the Republican unitary enterprise “Trade Vostochny House, state educational institution “Children’s health camp “Planet”, the state enterprise “Publishing House “Belarusian House of Printing” and the branch “Minsk Printing House”. This event brought together women from various fields of activity who are eager to discuss current issues and share their experiences.

An Art Podium exhibition location was organized in the lobby of the small hall of the Palace of the Republic, where employees of participating organizations presented their creative works in the following areas: “Art Space” (paintings in various techniques), “Handmade crafts”, “Beads and gems”. Master classes and an exhibition presentation from JV “Belita” LLC and CJSC “Vitex”, recognized leaders in the production of cosmetics in the Republic of Belarus, did not leave anyone indifferent from the participants of the forum. All this festive atmosphere was complemented by background music performed by the National Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus.

Within the framework of the forum, a dialogue platform was held, where experts made significant contributions to the discussion of topics related to the role of women in modern society. One of the key speakers was Olga Nikolaevna Popko, Director of the Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Art History, who presented the topic: “A successful woman: how to combine family, career, development, and hobbies.” The participants actively discussed the importance of a balance between professional and personal life, as well as shared their own success stories.

The second part of the dialogue platform was devoted to the theme: “The world of the modern Belarusian woman”, which was presented by Tsyrkun Nadezhda Alexandrovna, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ideological Work and Social Sciences of the Military Academy of Belarus. She focused on the changes in society and the new challenges faced by modern women, as well as the importance of supporting each other in their quest for self-realization.

In the third part of the dialogue platform, Alesya Kuznetsova, a writer, producer and director, spoke. She shared her experience in the creative field and talked about how art can become an important tool for self-expression and solving social problems.

After the official part of the event, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts in an “Open Microphone” mode, which helped create an atmosphere of trust and support. The women discussed their achievements, difficulties and methods of overcoming them, and also looked for ways for further development and cooperation.

At the end of the dialogue platform, a concert program of musical (creative numbers) performed by employees of participating organizations and their children awaited all participants.

At the end of the forum, a guided tour of the University of Culture Art Gallery, as well as a sightseeing tour of the Republic Palace, where participants were able to get acquainted with the history and architecture of this wonderful building, as well as feel the atmosphere of an important cultural center of the country.

Participation in the Women’s Forum has become for the representatives of the Belarusian House of Press not only an opportunity to exchange experiences, but also a source of inspiration for further professional and personal achievements. The women noted the importance of such events to strengthen mutual assistance and solidarity in the women’s community.

On Mother’s Day, October 14, Minsk is planning to host the final stage of the Women’s Forum of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus “Labor, Creation, Future”, which will bring together more than 300 representatives of the fair sex from about 70 organizations included in the system.
