THE BELARUSIAN HOUSE OF PRINTING WAS AWARDED THE GRAND PRIX OF THE NATIONAL CONTEST “ART OF THE BOOK – 2025”

The best publishers, printers and authors of the country were honored at the ceremony of the 64th National Book Art Competition.

As noted, the art of a book is a very broad concept, it includes its meaning, the work of an author, designer, artist, publisher, and printing workers. And as a result, we have a unique phenomenon. And the fact that the book does not lose its relevance is a unique phenomenon in our lives, says a large number of visitors to the XXXII Minsk International Book Fair, which was held from March 12 to 16, 2025. The Art of the Book contest is one of the oldest creative contests in our country, and the international book Fair is the most suitable place. to present awards to its winners.

Thus, Liana Zhvania was recognized as the best illustrator in the “Mastery” nomination for the book “Yak myadzwedziki tatu zgubli” (Mastatska Litaratura publishing house). The same book, by the way, also won in the nomination “Children of the XXI century” together with the book “Globus, or Tim’s Journey to India” (publishing house “Adukacy i vykhavanne”). Violetta Zhuk became the best book designer for the books “Elections in Belarus: briefly about the main thing” and “Symbols of Sovereign Belarus”.

The winner of the nomination “Strength in truth and Unity” is the book “Superposition. Parallel Worlds” (RUE BELTA), the book “The Statehood of Belarus: dates, facts, events” was recognized as the best in the nomination “Science and Knowledge” (Publishing house “Belarusian Science”). In the nomination “For contribution to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage”, the publication “National Treasure of Belarus” (publishing house “Adukatsia i Vykhavanne”) won, the best “Art book” was “Strokes speak: an album of graphic works” (Publishing house “Belarusian Science”). The winner in the “Spirituality” nomination was the publication “Symbols of Sovereign Belarus” (publishing house “Belarus”), the printing of which was entrusted to our company, and “Bukvar” (publishing house “Adukatsia i vykhavanne”) was recognized as the most “Modern textbook”. A bright edition with illustrations of the extraordinary beauties of Blue-eyed “Belarus. Zyamlya pad belymi krylami” won in the nomination “Fotovglyad” (publishing house “Belarus”). The book “From Moscow to Brest. On the road of glory” (ODO “Forum Publishing House”), in the nomination “Belarus remembers” — “Party members of Belarus. The partisans of Belarus. Partisans of Belarus” and “Genocide of the Belarusian people. Punitive operations”, parts 1, 2 (Belarus publishing house), in the LIT-format nomination — “Favorite Tales of our great-grandmothers” (Mastatskaya Litaratura publishing house). In the nomination “In the mirror of Time” — “The Security Council of the Republic of Belarus. 30 years in one team” (Zvyazda publishing house) and “Forever in the memory of nations. The Heroes of the Soviet Union are natives of the Union republics who received a high title for the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders” (Four Quarters Publishing House).

The winner of the Grand Prix in the special “Triumph” nomination was the “National Atlas of Belarus”, which was released by RUE Belkartografiya. The printing of this edition was entrusted to our professional team, as evidenced by the award received – the Grand Prix of the LXIV National Competition “The Art of the Book – 2025”.

The award of this prestigious competition is a serious recognition of the skill of the printers of the Belarusian House of Printing, which they demonstrated at all stages of prepress preparation and printing of this publication. Cartographic products are a benchmark of sophisticated technologies, a test of professionalism and competitiveness. We have once again successfully confirmed our leadership in the industry. We are the best!
