Topic: “FIVE-YEAR PLAN OF QUALITY – RESULTS OF THE IMPROVEMENT YEAR”

The five-year Quality Plan 2025-2029 is an urgent strategy for the country’s development and a response to the challenges of the time. Today, fierce competition is observed in all spheres (from production to civil society) and at all levels (from personal professional realization to strengthening the country’s position in the global world order).

Presenting the first State quality marks in the history of sovereign Belarus, the Head of State noted: “Quality is both the end result and the path. This is our main resource, along with hard work, intelligence and discipline, thanks to which we live in an independent country despite unprecedented pressure. Thirty years have been peaceful and creative.”

The five-year Quality Plan covers all spheres of government and society. The priority goals of its implementation are to further improve the quality of life of people and the competitiveness of the Belarusian economy, and to improve public relations.

2025 was the first year of the five-year quality plan, and Decree No. 1 of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated January 3, 2025, declared it the Year of Landscaping. In this case, landscaping, in addition to the usual tidying up, is understood as a set of measures implemented by the state together with organizations and citizens aimed at creating and maintaining a comfortable, safe, modern and aesthetically organized environment for people.

National-scale toloka

Belarusian citizens demonstrated unity and solidarity during the republican clean-up days held on April 12 and October 25 in the Year of Landscaping.

A good tradition has been preserved since Soviet times, when labor collectives and families went out to improve settlements, adjacent territories of enterprises, courtyards and streets.

Love for our small homeland and our whole country is manifested not in words, but in deeds. Participation in clean–up days is an expression by everyone of their civic position and, importantly, the education of the younger generation of Belarusians by personal example through work for the benefit of society. We are the masters of our land and are responsible for the order on it.

To achieve the objectives of the five-year quality plan, to make it effective and efficient, it is possible only through the joint efforts of government agencies, organizations of all forms of ownership and citizens. In this regard, it is important to develop an understanding of personal responsibility for the overall result, for preserving the independence of the country. We can do a lot together. Each of us is responsible for the conditions in which we live.

It must be remembered that despite the completion of the Landscaping Year, the restoration of order does not end, landscaping is an ongoing process and systematic work.

For the next five years, a number of government programs aimed at improving the quality of life standards are envisaged, including “Housing Construction”, “Transport of Belarus”, “Roads of Belarus”, “Comfortable housing and a favorable environment”, etc.

Belarus is our common home. It should be cozy and comfortable for us and our guests.

Setting himself up for productive work, Head of State Alexander Lukashenko emphasizes: “Remember that no one will do what you haven’t done. Everyone has to do their own thing. Everyone is responsible for their own piece of land, for their own piece of work, and they must do it. That’s the main thing.”
