The agenda of the second meeting of the VII All-Belarusian People’s Assembly was approved on November 25 by the relevant resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Council.
On the first day, the President’s address to the Belarusian people and Parliament will be heard. In accordance with the updated Constitution, annual messages are heard only on the site of the National Assembly.
The program of socio-economic development of Belarus for 2026-2030 is scheduled to be approved on the second day. It will be presented by the Prime Minister, who, in particular, will also report on the implementation of the program of the previous five-year plan. This time, the social and economic development program is adopted immediately before the start of the next five-year cycle, and not during the period when it has already begun, as it was before.
In addition, the VNS meeting will consider personnel issues of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, as well as issues related to the financing of the assembly.
