On December 4, the leadership of the Press House took part in celebrations dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU), the only higher educational institution in the country that produces specialists in publishing and printing.
In addition to representatives of the enterprise, the guests of the holiday included the leadership of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, ministries and departments, enterprises and partner universities not only from Belarus, but also from Russia and China, as well as students themselves, faculty, veterans and graduates of the university. The event included ceremonies, exhibitions and conferences dedicated to the achievements of the educational institution and its contribution to the development of various sectors of the country.
A special event was the presentation of the certificate for the renovation of the material and technical base to the Faculty of Print Technologies and Media Communications. This contribution will allow students and teachers to use modern equipment and innovative technologies, which will significantly improve the quality of the educational process. Students will gain deeper practical skills necessary to master printing processes and other specialized disciplines. This will help them develop professional skills that meet the modern requirements of the printing industry, conduct independent experiments and implement complex projects.
For teachers, the updated database will become a tool for more effective lectures and practical classes, the introduction of modern teaching methods and scientific research. The increased quality of educational resources will create conditions for improving the level of training of students, as well as strengthen the reputation of the faculty as a leading center for professional education in the field of printing and printing.
Also, as part of the celebration, the teaching staff of the Department of Print Technology and Media Communications was awarded with awards from partner companies for their contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and the development of the industry. These awards reflect recognition of teachers’ achievements in training new professionals and striving for continuous improvement of the educational process.
The management of the Press House highly appreciated the contribution of BSTU to the training of specialists and stressed their willingness to further develop cooperation. During the visit, the company’s management expressed support and recognition for the university, and also noted the importance of joint initiatives to develop professional education in the field of printing and printing.
