Today, April 3, our company hosted a regular meeting of the Youth Council of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus. Before the meeting, the participants observed a minute of silence to honor the soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War and laid flowers at the monument of the same name located on the territory of the enterprise, thereby paying tribute to the memory of those who did not return from the war.
Year after year, employees of the enterprise and its guests come to this sacred place to bow low and pay tribute to the fallen soldiers- polygraphists. This was the case many years ago, and it is still the case today. This tradition is continued by the youth who work at the House of Printing. Thanks to the heroic deeds of the victorious warriors, we live, work, make plans, and raise children.
The ceremony became a symbolic start of the program of events of the Youth Council of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus. At the meeting of the Youth Council, Chairman Anton Paveliev noted that today young people are those who in the future will embody initiatives and ideas for the development of enterprises and organizations within the structure of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus. One of the priorities today is to work purposefully to assist in the adaptation and consolidation of young people at enterprises and organizations subordinate to the Presidential Administration, to identify locally active young men and women with leadership qualities, and to involve them in the formation of the qualities of future leaders.
Ruzhena Novitskaya, Head of the Information and Ideological Work and Digitalization Sector of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, introduced the participants of the Youth Council meeting to the action plan for information and ideological work and noted that today, more than ever, it is important to listen and listen to youth representatives. This is how you can get creative ideas and take a fresh look at many issues. The main goal is to hear ideas and help implement them. The thoughts that young people are ready to share today, as well as their vision of the development of the country, organizations and enterprises that are part of the Presidential Administration system, are very important. We must support the young people’s desire to develop, hear and see problems, and help them solve them.
Today’s agenda is the implementation of youth initiatives and projects. In particular, at the meeting of the Youth Council, the Youth Council’s action plan for the current year was discussed, most of them related to the upcoming anniversary – the 80th anniversary of the Victory. The issues of popularization of working professions, attracting young people to work at enterprises and organizations of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus were discussed.
The meeting ended with a tour of the enterprise, which was conducted by Anton Paveliev, Head of the Ideological Work Sector, Chairman of the Youth Council of Managers. The meeting participants visited the production workshops and saw firsthand the work of real printers: the process of prepress preparation of the layout and production of printing plates, professional printing equipment, got acquainted with the specifics of the printer’s work, saw the process of printing newspaper products, the process of post-printing, the production of books and brochures, learned about the versatility of the profession “bookbinder”. Some have discovered the world of printing.
