On September 14, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko presented state awards to honored representatives of various fields. A solemn ceremony was organized at the Independence Palace on the eve of National Unity Day.
The Head of State noted that National Unity Day returned to the national holiday calendar five years ago. The President called the date of September 17, 1939, the most important stage in the formation of national statehood.
The Head of State presented the medal “For Labor Merits” to Nadezhda Valeryanovna Kuryanovich, an operator of an automatic production line for the production of securities of a special production.
