In Minsk, the winners of the Young Patriot competition among the children of employees of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus were awarded, which brought together more than 200 participants, 127 of them in the Best Drawing nomination and 78 in the Best Composition nomination. The competition was held in order to educate and strengthen children’s patriotism, stimulate and support their creativity. The children of employees of subordinate organizations of the Presidential Administration aged from 10 to 14 years took part in the competition.
The contest participants presented their works dedicated to love for the Motherland, respect for history and patriotic values. According to the results of the competition, the jury identified 55 winners, 27 participants won in the “Best Drawing” nomination, 28 in the “Best Essay” nomination. 3 participants were awarded the special prize “For the best reflection of the competition’s theme” in the “Best Drawing” nomination, and 3 for the best reflection of the competition’s theme” in the “Best Essay” nomination – 4. All the winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes.
6 works were sent from the State Enterprise Belarusian Printing House Publishing Co to participate in the competition, 3 in each of the nominations. So the winner in the “Best Drawing” nomination was the work of Evdokimchik Arina, her mother, Kuznetsova Tatiana, works as the head of the canteen.
The winners in the “Best Composition” nomination were the following works:
– Maria Hercik, Elena Hercik’s mother, works as an accountant in the central accounting department;
– Elizabeth Babitskaya and Anastasia Karatai, their mother, Natalia Babitskaya, works as a cleaner in the offset workshop.

The organizers noted that the contest was an important event that allowed the participants to show their creative abilities, as well as strengthen their interest in the topic of patriotic education, selfless and pure love for their homeland, respect for its history, nature, culture, preservation of traditional values, and pride in their parents, their hard work, and our ancestors who built for them. We are an independent, strong and prosperous Belarus.

The management of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus decided that the creative works of the winners would be exhibited in sanatoriums included in the system of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, which would allow a wide audience to evaluate them, be inspired by patriotic ideas and see our country through the eyes of children.

The organizers expressed the hope that such a competition would become not only a good tradition uniting families and collectives of organizations of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, but also helping to foster pride in their country and love for the Motherland in the younger generation.
